For Spear Street Capital, Spectorgroup delivered a fully prebuilt office space on the 6th floor of 635 Avenue of the Americas — a space refined to capture the spirit of Chelsea. The design integrates modern hospitality and workplace sensibilities with subtle references to the neighborhood’s industrial-meets-loft heritage, resulting in a polished yet welcoming environment for discerning tenants.
Upon entering the suite, visitors are welcomed by a long, elegant pantry and hospitality island. Light oak flooring and dark matte cabinetry establish a calm, neutral foundation, while a sculptural island — accented by suspended pendant lighting — introduces a sense of crafted sophistication. This amenity zone reflects Chelsea’s signature balance of warmth and minimalism, functioning not only as a practical workspace but also as a communal hub for informal gatherings.
The main workspace unfolds as an open, daylit floor plate with restored structural columns and exposed ceilings. This expansive layout offers flexibility — ideal for creative offices, tech firms, or professional services seeking a contemporary yet disciplined aesthetic. Slatted wood partitions subtly define zones without disrupting openness or light flow. A neutral material palette intentionally reserves room for tenant identity and customization.
