Stagwell Headquarters

New York, NY

A consolidation designed to drive connection and celebrate diversity.

For Stagwell, a digital-first marketing company built to drive results for the most ambitious brands, moving their headquarters to One World Trade Center was an opportunity to drive connection and leverage the synergy between their creative agencies. Working alongside the Stagwell team, we met with twelve of their agencies to develop a consolidation strategy that unified the Stagwell brand while celebrating each agency’s distinctive culture.

Designed for flexibility.

Spanning six floors, the goal was to create a vertical campus with strategically located common areas that included lounges, pantries, and multi-purpose rooms, to encourage cross-pollination. The design language and planning provided consistency from floor to floor, allowing for greater flexibility. Each agency was provided with a kit-of-parts that included wall coverings, areas to hang art, and branding opportunities to customize their space.

A panoramic promenade.

The geometry of the building allowed for efficient rectilinear work environments and provided an opportunity to accentuate the corners with triangular meeting rooms and breakout environments that defined the different neighborhoods of space. To allow as many people as possible to connect with the daylight and views, a promenade along the perimeter provided uninterrupted access to the panoramic views of the city.

Flexibility in design.

Guests are greeted by the incredible views in the Sky Lounge and are welcomed by a concierge in the main lobby. A grab-and-go café serves employees and guests and is designed to host a variety of events. The floor above opens to a conference center and flagship boardroom, designed for cross-agency use and collaborative meetings.
